Addiction Counselor
Job Description:
To provide effective and holistic counseling services to inmates and their families in a prison setting. The problem foci will include, but may not be limited to, alcohol and other drug abuse, sexual offenses and other dysfunction or acts of aggression. The position will work as part of the Mental Health Unit Team providing individual, group, and family counseling services to adult male and female inmates in a prison setting.
Job Requirements:
Must be licensed as an Addiction Counselor by the North Dakota Board of Addiction Counseling Examiners and have two years of experience in a private or public facility with duties similar to those listed for an Addiction Counselor. A Masters degree may substitute for one year of the experience requirement. Must successfully complete a standard background and criminal record check. Salary and Benefits:
Salary Range is $2,159-3,599 per month. Benefits include health insurance, life insurance and retirement package.
